How to clean a water stain from upholstery

Water stains could be tough to remove, but I am sure that this method will help you to get rid of it in no time. First thing first, dampen the stained area with a clean damp cloth. Place three paper towels on top of the damp area and use books to hold them down. Set the blow dryer on the cool setting  and  point it over the paper towels so that the moisture will transfer onto the paper towels.
After you will need a pressing iron. Turn the steam setting on and point the iron at the stained upholstery and give it a blast of steam. Allow the upholstery to air dry and repeat if necessary.
If the stain is still there, then call Magic Cleaning, schedule your appointment today!

How To Remove Cool Aid Stain From Carpet

Mix a few drops of dish detergent with warm water. Then use a clean white towel, soak it with the solution and then squeeze it out. Place the towel on top of the stain.
After place an iron on top of the cloth over the stain. Set the iron to the lowest setting. Allow the iron to sit on the cloth for 15 minutes, not more than that and do not press the iron into the stain. It will ruin the carpet fibers if you use force.
When you remove the iron from the stain, you will see that the towel will be red and the stain gone. If the stain is still there, fold the towel and place the clean side on the stain again and repeat the procedure.
If you would like stain to be gone in seconds without a hassle, then use our Red Zone Ready!

 Good luck :)

How to freshen up carpet

The best way to freshen up your carpet without using harsh chemicals is by using baking soda.
Simply sprinkle baking soda over the entire carpet and allow it to sit overnight. The baking soda will soak up the odors in the carpet. Vacuum the baking soda the next morning.
Vacuum the entire carpet regularly. Go over all the carpet with the vacuum with three strokes on each section. If the carpet is heavily soiled, go over it seven times. Do this each time to keep the carpet looking fresh and clean.

How to Remove Gum from Carpet

1. Put a bag of ice, or an ice pack on the gum. It's very important for it to become hard, that way it's easier to remove it. The longer the ice pack sits, the harder the gum will become and the easier it will be to remove from your carpet.
2. When the gum is frozen solid, grab a spatula or a butter knife and lift the gum up off of the carpet fibers.

Hope it helps :)

How to Clean Coke stains from carpet

blot up the excess liquid with a clean towel.
Then make a mixture of a tbsp. of detergent and a pint of warm water. Dampen a clean cloth with the mixture, and apply it to the stained area. Rub gently. After you don't see the stain, use a clean wet towel and rub the area until you see no detergent left on the carpet. Let the carpet dry.

How to Remove a Coffee Stain from Carpet

1. Blot up the coffee with paper towels.
Blot up as much of the coffee as possible as soon as possible. Remember: blot, don't rub.
2. Spray some water on the stain. You can also dab some water on the stain with a sponge.
3. Prepare the following cleaning solution: ¼ teaspoon mild, non-bleaching detergent or carpet shampoo to 1 liter of warm water. Stir the solution in a bowl to mix thoroughly.
*Before you apply any cleaner--including the one in these directions--to your carpet, test the cleaner in a small patch where no one will see it. Wait a few minutes. If the cleaner discolors or otherwise adversely affects the carpet, remove it immediately with cold water and a sponge.
4. Moisten a clean, white cloth liberally with the cleaning solution, and simply lay the cloth over the stain.
5. Lift the cloth off of the carpet, and spray warm water onto the stain. Alternatively, you may moisten a clean sponge with warm water and gently dab the stain.
6. Blot the stain with a clean dishtowel or sturdy paper towels. Blot, don't rub.
7. Let the carpet dry.
Hope this will help :)

How to Clean Ketchup, Pasta Sauce, or Barbecue Sauce off a Carpet

1. Gently scrape away the excess sauce as soon as possible after the stain sets. Use the dull edge of the knife, and remove as much of the ketchup as possible.
2. It's essential to use the right stain-removal techniques for a type of carpet. For example, natural fibers, such as wool or grass, can react badly to liquid stain removers (see the warning below concerning these chemicals), and you should always think twice before cleaning antique carpets or valuable rugs. If in doubt, call a professional carpet cleaner.
3. Dry stains need to be prepared for cleaning, so simply moisten a clean cloth with warm--not hot--water, and gently dab it onto the stain.
4. Prepare the cleaning solution. Add ¼ teaspoon mild detergent or carpet shampoo to 1 liter of cold water. Stir the solution in a bowl to mix thoroughly.
5. Moisten a clean cloth liberally with the cleaning solution, and simply lay the cloth over the stain.
6. Then dab it with a clean cloth.
7.Spray warm water onto the stain.
8. Blot the stain with a clean dishtowel or sturdy paper towels.
9. Let the carpet dry.

How to extend carpet's life

These professional carpet cleaning tips will help you maintain the quality and appearance of your carpet and hopefully preventing unnecessary staining and wear.

    1. Vacuum on a regular basis to prevent everyday dirt from setting into your carpet.
    2. Consider using area rugs in high traffic areas. That will protect your carpet from unnecessary staining and wear.
    3. If you have dogs who spend a lot of time outside, keep doggie towels near the doors you let them in and out by. Use them to wipe their paws to prevent tacked in dirt and stains.
    4. Use spot cleaning solutions between cleanings to treat any spills or spots you encounter.
    5. Have your carpets professionally cleaned every six to nine months, depending on how heavily they are soiled.
    6. Apply protectant to your carpet to help prevent stains from forming.
    7. If you do spill, blot, blot, blot! Get up as much of the liquid in the carpet as possible to prevent it from sinking into the carpet pad.
    8. Don’t pour water on to stains in order to “lighten them.” Although this can loosen the stain, it will subsequently sink deeper into the carpet and the pad, making it worse in the long run.

How to Clean Pet Urine Stains on Carpet

Your dog’s urine is a combination of ammonia, bacteria, hormones, nitrogen and uric acid. It’s the uric acid that creates a lingering smell even after you’ve cleaned up after your dog. It can be especially potent when the air is humid.
Since the canine sense of smell is hundreds of times more powerful than ours, it’s important to remove all traces of urine odor. If you don’t, your dog is very likely return to the same spot to do it all over again – especially if he’s not thoroughly housebroken or is left too long between trips outdoors to eliminate.
Take the following steps to thoroughly clean urine stains and odor from carpets and rugs:
  1. Using paper towels or other absorbent material like a rag or cloth, blot up as much of the urine as possible.
  2. Pour plain water over the spot and soak up the moisture again using clean paper towels – continue blotting until you don’t see any more yellow on the towels.
  3. Mix a solution of fifty percent white vinegar and fifty percent water. You must use a liberal amount of this solution to reach the carpet fibers deep down. Work the solution into the carpet with a soft brush or your fingers to ensure it penetrates the carpet fibers below.
  4. Then blot the area using the paper towel method above to absorb the vinegar mixture. The vinegar will neutralize the ammonia in the dog urine. If you own a wet/dry vacuum extractor use it to remove excess moisture.
  5. When the area has dried or almost dried sprinkle a good handful of baking soda over the soiled area.
Mix half a cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide with a teaspoon of Dish Soap detergent.
  6. Slowly pour the 3% hydrogen peroxide and dishwashing detergent mixture over the baking soda. You can also use a spray bottle for the hydrogen peroxide/dish washing detergent solution.                                                                                                                   Caution: Do not use Hydrogen Peroxide that is higher than 3% strength (10 Vol)
  7. Allow the area to dry completely. Once the area is thoroughly dry, vacuum up the baking soda. A fan or heater can assist drying. Use a hard bristled brush to loosen up the baking soda if necessary.

How To Remove Grease Stains On Carpet

Removing any type of stain doesn’t always call for expensive and popular stain removers. Most of the time these stain removers are ineffective, therefore you are not getting your money’s worth. You can always find the perfect mix by looking underneath your sink, in your laundry room, or just in your kitchen cupboards. Mixing up a cleaning solution of your own is inexpensive and less harsh on your items at home.

First Method:
Scrape off excess grease, then sprinkle baking soda or cornstarch on the stain. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes, and then vacuum.
Using a clean cloth, sponge the stain with a dry-cleaning solvent. Blot until the solvent is absorbed. If the stain is not gone, mix one tablespoon of liquid hand dishwashing detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of warm water. Sponge the stain with this solution. Blot until the liquid is absorbed. Sponge with cold water and blot dry to remove the detergent/vinegar solution.
Second Method:
First Scrape off excess grease. Then make this solution: mix 1 tablespoon of ammonia with ¼ teaspoon dish soap and 1 quart of water in a spray bottle. This mixture will help to dissolve most of the grease. Spray the mixture lightly onto the grease stain. Lightly moisten the stain, don't soak it. Blot the stain with rag or paper towel to remove moisture and help work the cleaning solution into the carpet. You may see the stain begin to disappear at this point.
Keep spraying and blotting the stain until it's gone. Rinse with a spray bottle of clean water, making sure not to soak the area.
