Sure, it's cozy to have carpet at home specially if you have kids. But as everybody knows, feeding children can be very messy. Baby food is known for creating tough to remove stains on clothing and carpet. Here is a quick tip how to remove baby food stains from carpet:
Scrape away as much excess baby food as you can using a butter knife.
Mix about ½ teaspoon of laundry detergent with one cup of cold water in the spray bottle.
Spray the stain with the cleaning solution, make sure that it is damp.Let it sit there for 20 minutes.
Blot the stain with a clean white towel until the stain is gone.
Place a clean towel or several sheets of paper towels on the wet area and weight them down with a heavy book or other object to aid in the absorption process. NEVER use a hair dryer or other heated device for drying—if the stain was not completely removed, the heat will cause it to set, making it nearly impossible to remove.
When area is completely dry, vacuum thoroughly to remove residue and restore texture.
If the stain still remains call a carpet cleaning professional.
