How to Remove Pet Odors from Carpet

We hear it very often, when people move to a different place that was previously inhabited by dogs or cats or both, the smell very often stays and becomes a huge problem for the new owners. So here is a tip how to remove the smell from the carpet:
This method is very similar to other odor removing methods, the main ingredient is BAKING SODA!!!
Sprinkle a liberal amount of baking soda over the entire carpet.
The difference is that you will have to brush the baking powder into the fibers of the carpet with a large soft-bristled scrub brush and allow it to stand for  up to 24 hours. If you would like to give your carpet a pleasant scent, stir a few drops of essential oil into the baking soda before sprinkling it on the carpet.
Vacuum the carpet thoroughly. Go slowly and change the bag if you are vacuuming a large area. Also if you would like to give your carpet a pleasant scent, stir a few drops of essential oil into the baking soda before sprinkling it on the carpet.
