The first thing to do is to blot the stain with a wet washcloth. Then mix a 1/3 cup of white vinegar with a ½ cup of water. Stir it in
well. Put your washcloth in the solution and let it absorb. Once
your rag is wet, dab some of that solution on the stain using
the cloth.
Once you have dabbed on the vinegar/water solution, allow it to sit for 10 minutes. This will allow it to soak in and remove the beer stain. After you have allowed the vinegar/water solution to sit, mix a little of the soap in
with just a little water. Apply this to your rag once again and dab it
on top of the vinegar/water solution. Keep dabbing it on. Do this for a
couple of minutes.
Now that the solutions have sat for a couple of minutes, you can remove them by laying a cloth on top of the area and putting something heavy on of of it. This will apply a lot of pressure to the stain
and help get all the solution moisture out of your carpet.
After you have dried up the stained area with your cloth, take some tap water and rinse the solution covered area. Keep doing this until the area is showing no more signs of soap. You may have to repeat it a few more times. Then place a clean dry cloth on top of it and apply some pressure ( you may use books).
After the area is dry vacuum to straighten the carpet fibers.
